Lunar Relic

Crafted entirely by hand, this glowing moon isn’t just a sculpture — it’s a planet reborn from waste.

The surface texture is made using industrial foam waste, melted and molded to mimic the rugged craters and volcanic scars of the moon. Each cavity and swell is intentional — capturing the chaos and calm of the lunar surface. The form is coated in natural pigments and ash, giving it a matte, crater-pocked finish that looks eerily cosmic under the right light.

Encircling it is a halo of LED light, carefully embedded to give the illusion of a rising or setting moon — soft, powerful, and hypnotic. The base is a slab of reclaimed wood, grounding this celestial body in Earth’s discarded beauty.

Everything used — from the foam to the wood — is upcycled, salvaged, and reimagined. This piece is a conversation between nature and industrial ruin… between destruction and creation.
